Travel: Deliverability Rescued 45% to 98%

Travel: Deliverability Rescued 45% to 98%

The situation

An established travel brand whose email program had collapsed. More than half of everything they sent never reached an inbox. Campaigns looked fine in the dashboard; revenue told the real story.

The dashboard said "sent." The inbox said nothing. 55% of their emails were disappearing into spam folders and invisible in every metric the team was watching.

What we did

A full deliverability rescue, sequenced to protect what still worked while rebuilding what didn't:

1. Fixed the foundations: authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and sender infrastructure repaired first, because nothing else matters while the technical layer is broken

2. Rebuilt the sending strategy: engagement-based segmentation replaced batch-and-blast, so ISPs saw a sender people actually open

3. Retired the dead weight: unengaged segments dragging down reputation were sunset, shrinking the list but multiplying its reach

4. Ramped back in controlled tiers: volume returned gradually, each tier's performance gating the next

The results

98%

inbox placement reached

90

days from start to recovery

2X

effective reach of every send

Inbox placement recovered from 45% to 98% within 90 days effectively doubling the reach of every email sent, with no increase in list size or send volume. Same list, same effort, twice the audience actually seeing it.
